Youth Ministry
I strongly don’t believe that the Youth are the church of tomorrow they are the church of today there is no church of tomorrow. You will find churches the youth are in almost every department , in evangelism, music etc but their recognition on leadership is never there so the church has always kept the old folks only and so it went on growing older and older.
A generation in the Bible is 35-70 yrs but if I can pick 35years according to (job 42:16) he lived 140 years those are 4 generations which is 35 years. It seems in 35yrs God can do a lot, a lot of things change, a lot of styles and fashions go and others come. Weapons of war change too, that’s why God had to go in for David, it seems his brothers were using the old tricks of war and they had failed. That’s why the boy even refused saul’s armour, he had the brains of the hour . The prophecy of Joel (Joel 2:28) Afterwards i will pour my spirit on all people, your sons and daughters will prophesy. You old men will dream dreams your younger men will see visions
It’s repeated here sons, daughters and young men ,will bear the vision of the hour. Paul had a cross section of people to choose from, but he chose Timothy and he tells him in (1Tim 4:12) don’t let anybody look down on you, because you are “young” You know naturally people have that tendency of looking down on the youth. It’s time to wake up there is no young Holyghost he is the same.
When we started the church we started grooming the young people as younger as 14yrs and now after 5yrs they are leaders in our church with those aged 19 years already making powerful decisions and leading departments like evangelism, financial departments. It’s time to release the youth into ministry, this new move of the Holyghost everybody is going to be used of God. Despite your size or education or culture background.Are you ready for that ?
